Conduct in Conversation

Please respect one another and help keep this place welcoming for everyone.

Permitted

  • If any rule is unclear, you may ask an administrator directly.

Not Permitted

  • Spamming messages or sending repeated messages in chat channels or DMs.
  • Mentioning members or administrators unnecessarily, or repeatedly.
  • Using profanity, harassment, sexism, racism, religious discrimination or other toxic behaviour.
  • Inciting or encouraging others to break the rules, such as urging them to use profanity or post inappropriate images.

Content and Links

Everything you post must be safe for everyone on the server.

Permitted

  • If you need to share an external link, you may inform an administrator beforehand.

Not Permitted

  • Sharing external or suspicious links without good reason.
  • Posting fan art, images or other people's work without giving credit.
  • Posting pornographic, obscene or inappropriate content in any channel.
  • Inviting others to gamble, or gambling in any form.
  • Selling, advertising or offering services without an administrator's permission.

Safety and Membership

Administrators may review, edit or remove content that breaks the rules without prior notice.

Not Permitted

  • Impersonating or posing as another person.
  • Using multiple accounts to evade penalties.

Using Channels Appropriately

Each channel has its own purpose, described in the channel guide.

Permitted

  • General chat belongs in the chat channel; fan art belongs in the fan art channel of each creator.

Not Permitted

  • Frequently going off-topic in channels with a defined purpose, such as announcement or event channels.

Images and Videos

Memes and images are welcome in the appropriate channels.

Permitted

  • Violent or frightening images may be posted if preceded by a content warning (Content Warning).

Not Permitted

  • Violent, gory or horror images, or depictions of dangerous behaviour, without a content warning.
  • Using memes to insult or mock members of the server.

Respect for Administrators and Staff

If you have questions about a staff decision, you may always discuss it privately and politely.

Permitted

  • If you disagree with a decision, you may open a ticket or message the staff privately.

Not Permitted

  • Publicly challenging, provoking or arguing with administrators in order to create conflict.

Penalties and Review

Penalties depend on the severity of the offence. Administrators may decide according to the circumstances, and the staff's decision is final.

  1. MinorSpam, profanity, posting in the wrong channel — first offence: warning · second offence: mute for 30 minutes–1 hour · third offence: mute for 1 day
  2. ModerateInappropriate content, advertising, repeated offences — first offence: mute for 1–3 days · second offence: removal from the server · third offence: permanent ban
  3. SevereBullying, sexism or racism, pornography, illegal activity, impersonation — immediate permanent ban without warning

Requesting Assistance

If you have a problem, wish to report a rule violation or need to speak with the staff, press the button to open a ticket in the ticket channel. Ticket channels are visible only to you and the staff.

Submitting an Appeal

To appeal a penalty, send a DM directly to naraky (the server owner) only.
